A serving bowl that looks finished even when it's empty.
Made of porcelain and decorated with a celestial gold pattern, the bowl has a defined rim that gives it a clean, formal edge on the table. The small, at six and a half inches across, is the right size for olives, nuts, or a single side; the large, at eight and a half inches, holds a salad or roasted vegetables for a full table. Either one looks good enough on its own to stay out on a sideboard between dinners.
Use the large for the main side dish and keep the small at the bar for citrus or nuts.
