Gold & Black Zigzag Design Glass Ball Ornament

Gold and Black Zigzag Glass Ball Ornament

Gold and black in a sharp zigzag, for a tree with more edge than the usual.

The round glass ball runs a zigzag of gold and black around its full surface, a pattern with far more graphic punch than a solid metallic and one that reads clearly even from across the room. It's sold by the set in three sizes: Small at 3.25 inches in a set of twelve, and Medium at 4 inches and Large at 4.75 inches in sets of six. That's enough of one pattern to carry a whole tree, which is how a bold ornament like this should be used, in numbers rather than as a single accent. Against plain gold and black balls it looks deliberate; next to a lot of color it fights.

Trim the tree in the Medium set first, then add the Large six at the front and keep everything else to solid gold or black.

Styling Tips
Fill in between them with the Metallic Glass Ball Ornament Shiny Gold so the zigzag has something plain to play against.
